11+ Club

MEETING FRIENDS, PROMOTING INDEPENDENCE

The 11+ Club was set up to enable young people to develop their skills and independence in the world around them. We organise a variety of activities to promote this and to encourage young people to be more involved in deciding how their day should run.

Regular events include, bowling, trips to Splashdown, the cinema, the beach and ice-skating at the BIC. On site activities include, art, drama and dance days, cookery days and sport activities. Young people can also enjoy just meeting up with old and new friends, chatting, playing games, listening to music and generally hanging out together.

PLEASE NOTE

-         From February Half term Holiday (13th February 2012) the 11+ Club will be running from MOORDOWN ST JOHN’S SCHOOL (Vicarage Road, BH9 2SA) alongside our existing Club.  (Existing families please note: We are no longer running from St Clement’s Church Hall)

-         The normal Holiday Club fees apply i.e. £19 per day.

-          Trip Days:  As we want young people to choose and decide on their own activities, we will not be having set days for trips but instead will ask young people to bring £7.00 pocket money each day to be used on whatever activity the group decide to do.

e.g.

-         Ice skating

-         Cinema

-         Laser Quest

-         Swimming

-         Bowling

On occasions specific trips may be organised and pre booked in order to take advantage of group reductions.  If this applies parents will be advised on booking and will be invoiced accordingly.
