THE 115 OUT OF SCHOOL CLUB

PLAYWORKER /CLUB LEADER

  Requirements:

·        Applicant with childcare experience and who has Level 2 or 3 qualification in Playwork or Childcare or maybe working towards it.

·        Successful applicants are required to provide full employment history, checkable references and Enhanced Disclosure.

  Duties & Responsibilities

·        You will be supervising or managing our site providing children aged between 4 and 11 years old with play opportunities after school.

·        Duties on a daily basis include setting up Playrooms, liaising with parents and school, planning and setting up activities for indoor & outdoor play, preparing snack and clearing up room used at end of session. 

·        You will be working within EYFS and Ofsted regulations.

Hours of work are between 7.30am to 8.45am for Breakfast Club and 14.45 to 17.45 for After School Club. If both shifts were worked the applicant would be paid for 5 hours per day during Term Time. In addition to these hours there is also an option to work during School Holidays. We would also consider applicants wishing to apply for either the Morning Shift or the Afternoon Shift.

There is an expectation that employees will under go continuous professional development in support of this role. Remuneration is negotiable and is dependant on Qualifications, Experience and Performance.
